FAQ

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol, or CBD for short, is a prominent cannabinoid found in the plant cannabis. Unlike the molecule THC, CBD is non-psychoactive.

What are the benefits of CBD?

The history of medical cannabis can be traced back thousands of years.

“CBD is the most promising drug that has come out for neuropsychiatric diseases in the last 50 years," said Dr. Esther Blessing, a Professor at New York University School of Medicine. "The reason it is so promising is that it has a unique combination of safety and effectiveness across a very broad range of conditions."

CBD (Cannabidiol) has anti-inflammatory, anti-anxiety, antipsychotic, and anticonvulsant properties. CBD is not felt to have any intoxicating or psychoactive side effects. The 2018 farm bill removes Hemp from the list of controlled substances, opening the floodgates for hemp-derived CBD products.

CBD is used to manage medical conditions, most commonly:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Insomnia

  • Joint Pain

  • Nausea

  • Migraines

  • Arthritis

Is CBD legal?

The 2018 Farm Bill changed federal policy on hemp, including the removal of hemp from the Controlled Substances Act and the consideration of hemp as an agricultural product. The bill legalized hemp under certain restrictions and expanded the definition of industrial hemp. North Carolina allows cultivation of hemp for commercial, research or pilot programs. Hemp is a variety of cannabis with a THC concentration of not more than 0.3 percent. CBD does not have the psychological “high” that is associated with THC. All CBD products sold at Blue Flowers contain less than 0.3% THC

Can CBD help my pet?

Your pet has an endocannabinoid system just like you and may benefit from ingesting CBD. CBD is non-toxic for pets and may help manage pain and anxiety.

Will it get me high?

No. CBD does not have the psychological “high” that is associated with THC. All CBD products sold at Blue Flowers contain less than 0.3% THC.

Will I pass a drug test?

Most drug tests are looking for THC, all CBD products sold at Blue Flowers contain less than 0.3% THC. Always ask for the product COA (certificate of analysis) to prove the actual THC content in your product is ZERO.

What is your return policy?
